St Kevin's College is set in park-like surroundings, dominated by Redcastle. Founded in 1927, St Kevin's College boasts the largest co-educational boarding school in the South Island.

The current roll of 450 (Yr 9-13) includes 200 students who come from all parts of the South Island.

The cornerstone of education at St Kevin's College is the Christian values embodied in the Catholic faith. The college aims to provide opportunities for leadership to equip students to stand up for their values and principles as well as developing the whole person by providing a well-rounded education.
