Valley took home the Dick Hunt Trophy on Saturday afternoon when it defeated Albion by three wickets in the final at Awamoa Park.
Albion won the toss and, batting first, was dismissed for 117 in the 39th over. Once again, all-rounder Brad Kernahan held the side together with 33.
Bowling for Valley, Sean Todd took three for 23 and Nick Kelland, Blair Malcolm and Hamish McKenzie took two wickets each.
Valley lost an early wicket to be 12 for one after three overs and Kernahan chipped in with further wickets to have Valley 63 for four after 18 overs.
Solid batting from Matt Pile (25) and Hamish McKenzie (26) saw Valley through to 122 for seven in the 31st over. Kernahan finished with three for 35 off his 10 overs.
In lower grades Valley took out the Senior Reserve holiday competition led by Kelvin Mansfield's 89 while the Oamaru second graders stopped Valley taking out all three grades with a 60 run victory.
