Eastern recorded its first win in the holiday competition with an eight wicket win over Albion. In a rain affected match Albion was dismissed for 60 with Steve Halliwell top scoring with 28 while Matt McLelland took three for 30 and Jeff Grubb and Greg Stevenson-Wright took two wickets each. Eastern passed the Albion total with eight wickets in hand with McLelland top scoring with an unbeaten 28.

Oamaru produced its best performance of the season when it defeated Union by  90 runs on Saturday. Batting first solid batting from James Ferris(49), Matt Murphy(58) , James Backhouse(49) and Regan George saw Oamaru make 251 before the final wicket fell in the 48th over. Blake James took four for 33, Matt Lilliey,three for 35 and Dan Conlan,two for 57 for Union.Union was dismissed  for 161 in the 29th over with Lilley unbeaten on 26  and Jake Greenslade(32), Christian Westergaard(23)and Conlan(25) the best of the rest. Bowling for Oamaru Murphy took fourv for 27 while  Ferris and Josh Gutsell took two wickets each.
