Albion won the Wild Buck 20/20 final for the eighth time in the twelve finals played since its inception of the competition defeating Valley in the final by twenty six runs. Albion won its semi final beating Union by sixty two runs with Regan George leading the way with fifty nine invaluable runs and George continued that form with another half century in the final against Valley with a crucial fifty seven runs. Against Union Albion made 162 in its twenty overs with Brad Fleming taking three for 28 for Union. Union was dismissed for 100 in nineteen overs with Thomas Shields top scoring with 21 while Brady Kingan took five for 19 off three overs and Ricky Whyte claimed three for 24.

In the other semi final Valley made 139 for six with Cameron Grubb unbeaten on 51 and Rhys Petrie(28) the best of the batsmen. Bowling for Oamaru Mat Murphy took three for 14. Oamaru was dismissed for 113 in the final over with Matt Brien top scoring with 38. Tom Harding took three for nineteen, Grubb, two for 13 and Reuben Simpson, two for 17 for Valley.

Albion batted first in the final and with George(57) and Brad Kernahan(28) leading the way compiled 158 for seven in its twenty overs. Bowling for Valley Simpson took three for 23 and Dallas Mahuika for 35. Valley could muster only 132 for seven in reply with Simpson(29) and Josh Haywood(27 not out) the pick of the batsmen. Bowling for Albion Whyte took two for 27 and Dylan Winter, two for 21.
