The Association match between the above combined teams took place on Saturday at Pukeuri. The home team batted first, and were disposed of for 53 runs, while the visitors responded with 87. The home team in their second innings, had six wickets down for 22 runs run time was called, the visiting team thus winning by 34 runs on the first innings. For the former Thomson, Cuthbertson R, and T. and G. Goodall were the most successful with the bat, while D. Herald scored most heavily with the ball. For the latter Nimmo 23 (not out), W. Sherriffs 21 (including one hit for 5), AND Aitken 20 made a good stand, while with the ball W. Sherriffs and Nimmo were responsible for most of their opponents wickets falling.
