Union beat Eastern by 15 runs at Mill Reserve in Palmerston. Batting first Union made 140 with the tenth wicket falling in the fiftieth over. Thomas Shields(23), Jake Greenslade(27) and Mark Wilson(22) were the best of the Union batsmen while with the ball for Eastern Matt McLelland too three for 13 and Cameron Grubb,three for 21.Despite some solid batting from Murray Dempster(39) and James Dempster(31), Eastern was dismissed for 125 in the 37th over. Brad Fleming finished with five for 27, Matt Lilley took three for 15 and Mark Wilson, two for nine off two overs.
Albion beat Valley by 56 runs at Weston Park. Albion batting first made 130 before the final wicket fell in the 35th over. Matt Day(43) and Paul Odell(30) were the main contributors with the bat while Reuben Simpson and Hayden Tisdall took three wickets each and Nick Kelland claimed two for 17. Valley was dismissed for 74 in the 26th over with only Nick Webster(24) showing any form. Bowling for Albion Dylan Winter took four for 24 and Ricky Whyte,four for 25)
