The first round of the regular competitions of North Otago club cricket were called of yesterday due to rain.

After constant rain started falling in the night the call was made by club cricket director Hamish McKenzie to call of all club cricket at 10.30am. Earlier he games had been rescheduled to be played on artificial but with rain still falling the games were cancelled.
