Since the last news item was added to the North Otago Cricket website there have been some more additions to the site.
During the past month the scorecards from all of the games against South Canterbury since the very first in 1896 have been found. As a result the addition of a new section in the records has been created showing individual records such as most matches, most runs, highest score etc. has been created and merged with the old innings records page. In the future it is hoped the records section will expand to encompass more North Otago records and statistics.
As research has been done on the classic matches, information has come to light as to the winners of the North Otago Senior competition from 1900 to 1920. These records have been updated on the website and be can viewed here.
Another section that is proving popular amongst visitors to the site is the classic matches section. When it was originally added it only included the match between North Otago and the West Indies. Since then the following games have been added:
