At the 2007 Aoraki Secondary Schools Sports Awards held in Timaru on 26 October, Tessa Hopkinson received the Girls Cricketer Award and Emma Paton was a finalist. Emma also received the Athlete with a Disability Award and her cricketing involvement was a major contribution to this award.
