Barry was on the Air New Zealand Flight TE901 which went on a sightseeing flight to Antarctica. Sadly the plane crashed into Mount Erebus killing all 237 passengers and 20 crew on board. It was the worst civil disaster in New Zealand's history. (5/11/2011)
