North Otago has had to make to one change to the lineup from the Southland game a fortnight ago with Darcy Hooper-Smith replacing Scott Simpson:

10.17am: North Otago has won the toss and will bat first. Jordan Horrell has been promoted up the order and will open with Jeremiah Shields.
11.09am: North Otago has made a slow but steady start, 7/0 of 12 overs. Horrell is 2 not out while Shields is 4 not out.
11.15am: North Otago has lost its first wicket, Shields out caught by Houston of the bowling of Richard Print for 4. Ben Cant joins Horrelll at the crease, 8/1.
11.47am: Drinks and North Otago are 28/1 of 21 overs. Jordan Horrell is 4 not out while Ben Cant is 15 not out.
12.15pm: Jordan Horrell is out caught behind for 5, North Otago 39/2 with Ben Cant on 25 and captain Stephan Grobler joining him at the crease.
