Centennial Park will be the venue for the two semi-finals in Borton Cup cricket after the final round of qualifying on Saturday.
Oamaru was given an easy run to the semi-finals when Waitaki Boys defaulted, giving Oamaru the necessary 10 points to pull clear of St Kevin's College
Albion's win over Union meant three teams were locked in second place behind Valley and the eventual placing's were decided on runs scored divided by wickets lost. This put Albion second, Union third and Oamaru fourth
In the semi-finals, Valley will play Oamaru on Centennial Park no 1, and Albion and Union will meet on Centennial Park no 2.
St Kevin's College beat by seven wickets top qualifier Valley, depleted because of Geoff Mavor's wedding.
Valley won the toss and batted first and was dismissed for 91 in 29 over's. David Coray top scoring with 21. Brent O'Connor produced the fine figures of six for 30 of his 10 over's while Ross Graham claimed two for 11 of his six.
St Kevin's lost only three wickets before it made the required 93 runs. Brad Kernahan made 25, Jeremy Thomas 24 and Sean Conlon 23. Adam Fisher took two for 25 of five over's for Valley.
Sent into bat by Albion, a fighting unbeaten 55 from Neil Rushton gave Union a respectable 124 runs before the final wicket. Paul O'Dell took five for 34 and he received excellent backing from Warwick Coe who took three for 20.
Albion lost four wickets in the first 15 over's to be 75 for four, Jason Greaney making 32. An unbeaten fourth wicket stand of 50 between Peter Cartwright (20 not out) and O'Dell (24 not out) saw Albion through to 125 for four. Paul Johnston took two for 22 for Union.
